Synapse Marketing Solutions, a leading provider of marketing and business growth solutions for clients in Central PA and surrounding markets, is seeking a Content Development Strategist to add to our growing team.
As a Marketing Content Development Strategist, you’ll be a key member of our team as you work closely with our account executives, marketing department and creative teams to write persuasive copy and organize content. This position will help formulate and develop quality ideas, strategies and messages, and will transform raw information into attention grabbing, easy-to-understand marketing messages that move the reader to action.
This position is responsible for developing and organizing and writing a variety of content for print, web and social media and requires creative direction and project management capabilities, as well as an understanding of SEO. Previous SEO and social media experience is a must. You will work with many different clients in many different industries on both technical and creative copy. You will be responsible for organizing thoughts and ideas, and thinking about big picture plans in order to successfully write copy for our clients needs.
You’ll also be responsible for editing content written by others, defining editorial workflows for client web projects, developing, maintaining and enforcing editorial style guides, creating web nomenclature lists and cataloging web content. An understanding of information architecture is preferred.
The right candidate will have 2 to 5 years of marketing and communication experience and a Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, advertising, journalism or related field. A portfolio and proven history of developing strong copy and web content is ideal. Effective written and oral communication skills are essential for this position.
