YES…The Color Purple…It is my favorite movie and I have seen it more than 20 times and still cry like a baby at the end.
Success is a Journey, not a destination.
I am pretty sure it was a curse word.
I lived on the island of Oahu and went to high school there for a year as a teenager.
As President & COO, I provide leadership to the Synapse team, oversee company operations, and assist in the development of key enterprise accounts and overall company marketing strategies.
Prior to Synapse, I spent nine years with Way Services Inc. as Chief Operating Officer. My responsibilities included overseeing total company operations for Adecco Staffing offices located throughout four counties and Way Delivery Services.
My professional achievements include being named to the Forty Under 40 in 2006, a Best 50 Women in Business in 2007, recipient of the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce's Athena Award in 2009, earning the 25 Women of Influence Award in 2010, and winning the Women of Influence Community Service Award in 2011.
I'm passionate about being involved in the Lancaster community. I currently serve on the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Workforce Investment Board's Youth Council, and as a board member for Tabor Community Services. I also serve on the Chamber's Excellence Exchange Committee; Chair the Housing Priority Group for the County's 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness; and serve on the Young Women's Future Symposium Committee for Junior Achievement. I am a featured speaker each year at the Young Women's Future Symposium and enjoy teaching leadership, interview and life skills at area schools, transitional housing shelters and other nonprofit organizations.
The talent, passion and excitement I see in our staff is so infectious! I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.
