Each spring, Hersheypark faces the daunting task of hiring 10,000 seasonal employees to operate its world-famous amusement park. Although they were marketing adequately, applications were decreasing each year – threatening to leave the Park with a shortage of workers for the upcoming season.
We completely redesigned the website and user experience, focusing on mobile usability, custom job search capabilities, and smart content – like a section for parents – to engage potential candidates, especially teens and young adults. Beyond the interface, we built a custom API to re-integrate Hershey’s applicant tracking system, Findly, eliminating the need for re-training and allowing the Human Resources team to ramp up quickly.
